The blank page and that cursor, with its damn blinking, drives me mad. I scratch my head and stare aimlessly at the ceiling, hoping a bolt of ingenuity will strike and light the page up with grand ideas that make people smile, laugh and cry.
Finally when it comes to me, an idea, a word, a scene, my fingers do the QWERTY dance and sing:
